Sentinel Marine has its roots in a Company called Nomis Shipping, which was established in 1989. Based in Aberdeen, the early days of the Company were engaged in owning and managing a fleet of Emergency Response & Rescue Vessels (ERRV). The ERRVs were constant sentinels, watching over drilling rigs and production platforms operating in the North Sea. Over the years, the Company expanded to include an office in Singapore operating a fleet of mainly Anchor Handling Towing & Supply Vessels (AHTS). The Company>s operations and fleet management in Aberdeen and Singapore were subsequently sold in 2008.
